Life is what you make of it...so make it GREAT!

About Me

I hate these sections...I don't like to talk about myself. Some people have labeled me as thoughtful, intelligent, comical, good guy, nice, and reliable. Other than that, I don't know.

My Interests

Computers, games (used to be a gamer--not much time these days), playing pool (been a while), but overall I'm always looking for something new to broaden my horizons.

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. While this might seem vague, I'm interested in meeting people who are like me (interests) and who are not like me. I'm pretty laid back and I tend to get along with everyone or I at least try to.

I really hate to do this, but lately I've been getting some fake people (using aliases) messaging me and/or requesting to be friends. I thought most ppl who said they only add people they know were being uptight, but I'm going to have to say something similar. All I ask is that we talk via messaging before I add anyone I don't know. I actually do like to get to know new people and it's far more fun this way in the long run. I've made some cool new friends this way on MySpace and I hope this doesn't discourage any interested people from talking to me.

Music:

I listen to just about anything except Country. My roots are in classic rock and I've been to more concerts than I can count. Some favorities: AC-DC, Van Halen, Elton John, Billy Joel, the Beatles, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, Boston, Kansas, ZZ Top, and list goes on.

Movies:

How can you beat a good comedy?? Mel Brooks' movies (Spaceballs, Robin Hood Men in Tights, History of the World Part 1), Robin Williams, Richard Pryor, etc. Also a huge fan of the Matrix (first is still my favorite).

Without much detail I like a lot of movies so you'd just have to ask to find out. I don't remember too many of the B & W classics, but I have a pretty good memory for more recent films.

Television:

Lost, CSI, Dead Zone, Monk, NCIS, the Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama

Books:

Michael Crichton novels are always a good read. I like to read, but time is my enemy when it comes to reading a new book.

Heroes:

Those who give of themselves to help others. My definition of a hero isn't Superman or someone like that. Plainly put, a hero is just someone who can think of another person before himself or herself to help.

My Blog

URL

I need to think up a good URL for my myspace.  I am still pissed off that Myspace took my original one (myspace.com/bossman) and gave it to a musician.  It's been a long time since that happ...
