I grew up in a large family where one doesn't receive much attention. This led me to believe I needed to become a famous actor to fulfill this desire. A few years ago when I was performing stand-up comedy (ironically one of the unhappiest times of my life) I met my best friend D. By the grace of God I moved into her house and there a miraculous transformation began.She taught me everything about life (something my parents hadn't much time for between raising six children and running a family business). She brought exercise into my life, showed me how to have a balanced diet, and brought me back to God, (who wasn't pleased with how my life had been going, but was most welcoming when I returned).I no longer desire the adoration of billions, I only want love from those who know me, and right now I'm just getting to know myself. My career path has taken a different turn, and I'm not exactly sure which way it is going, but what I do know is...I have faith. Faith that my creator has a special plan for me. The new me loves to help people and the world definately needs it. So I find joy in my everyday life, happiness in my heart and I'm thankful for the road I've chosen. When one can be thankful for the simple gifts that one receives like watching the sunrise or holding your neice for the first time, or feeding someone who's hungry, one will find true happiness.
