Cracker Stackwell

About Me

Cracker Stackwell is the alter ego of Gary Tannenbaum. Playing acoustic blues, folk and fingerstyle composition for thirty five years, Cracker has played with some of the best around. He especially enjoys interpreting Reverend Davis songs (for some reason). His mission is to keep the blues and roots music alive and try to make the day a little brighter with music.Mr. Stackwell's alter ego, Gary Tannenbaum contributed to livelying up the Morgantown, WV music scene with The Rosewood Theatre. So many awesome acts graced it's stage..... so many music lovers got their groove on there. Sadly, the Rosewood is silent now...... but music happens elswhere. It always does. When not bending strings Cracker is running Morgantown's Blue Moose Cafe....good coffee, good food, and you can frequently find music in one form or another happening there. Stop on by.... www.thebluemoosecafe.com Cracker has moved to Bethlehem, PA, splitting his time between WV and PA and is enjoying the Lehigh Valley music scene. Not being far from NYC an Philadelphia opens up some possibilities as well. Member: West virginia Blues Society and The Lehigh Valley Blues Network. I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
