TheShakedown

About Me

TheShakedown are three friends who were brought together through the love of live performance. With combined experience spanning nearly two decades, touring across the east coast and once even the entire nation, this three piece has combined influences from artists underground to popular, modern to classic. TheShakedown stays focused by continually writing new music and enhancing their electrifying stage show. Mix these fine characters with a little liquid courage (from a bottle or two), the number one choice of bogans who want to splash out a bit, and you've got a premium blend of intoxicating bebop that will shake your tailfeather whether you think you have one or not.
"Analyzed the world I was born into, but I never could understand. Knew I never wanted to grow up if that meant being a 'man'. Dominating, strict competition is the meaning of our lives. Stomping on the weak keeps us the winner of the battle in our own minds.
"Tensions in our lives that are destroying our minds, unite themselves together to make our consciousness blind. Conditioned to self-interests with emotions locked away; if that's what they call 'normal' then I'd rather be insane."
