Lazarus Jones

Hey There!!Lazarus Jones (Inspirational Artist and Songwriter)So many of my peeps have asked..."What's that name all about?" Well here's the story....When I think of my life and my calling it has been about rising...whether it is through adversity or rising above my personal fears. I want my life and my music to encourage others to rise as well. (whether I sing about love between a man and a woman or the love of Christ.)So obviously everyone knows the story of Lazarus rising from the dead and the Jones....Well the Jones brings a modern day flavor to it. I am a Modern day Lazarus!Lazaus was friend of God and Jesus chose to use his death...as an opportunity to prove his power over it. What is not known to most, is that God chose to go back to a land that was very dangerous to perform this miracle for his friend Lazarus. Many thought that it was over and that even God could not breathe new life into this situation.....This blows my mind as I have "gone underground" to refresh my heart and think of all the triumphs and mistakes I have made. Some Mistakes by which nearly caused some of my closest family and peeps to feel like I was "dead" emotionally or spiritually.I also think about how God just came in to Lazarus' place and said...."He's Sleeping!" and asked Lazarus to RISE. This I know in my heart is now my life process. Though sleep at the present...I now begin to hear that same voice calling me out of my slumber... and my fears. "Rise and be used of God."I'm Ready...Are you?p
