Born in St Affrique, France, on the 10th of December 1988, Nicholas Azinas grows up in Pafos, Cyprus and learns how to speak and write French, Greek and English. He starts playing the guitar at the age of 7 with Telis. In 1996 he changes teacher to get lessons from a classical formated teacher. Four years later he starts lessons with Kostas Matchek who will be his mentor until today. During his years in Cyprus he takes part in different formations of many styles such as Punk, Rock, Hard Rock, Metal, Greek Folk, Greek Pop ect, with whom he makes several concerts. With Punk-Rock group Speech Therapy he will support greatest rock band in Cyprus "Armageddon" during the 1st Pafos Beer Festival for 2 nights. In 2004 he gets proposed to play guitar in the municipal big band of Pafos. He will play with them for 2 years. During his years in Cyprus he will get initiated to bass guitar, drums, bouzouki and percussions. At the age of 17 he gets admitted in Jazz music school le CIM in Paris. Famous french guitar player Gille Renne becomes his teacher among others like Michel Valera, Jean-Claude Fohrenbach, Jean-Marie Averseng, Laurent David and Phillipe Baudoin. In Paris he will mostly play in Jam sessions during 2007. Beginning of summer 2007 he gets accepted for a second year in the CIM and heads for Cyprus where he will play in various restaurants and bars during the whole summer. When he gets back in France he plays for a short while with French death metal band Teriak. He will leave from Teriak for personal reasons. During his second year at the CIM he will take drums lessons with French drummer Yves Teslar and play with Latvian singer Marie N(Marija Naumova). He will also participate in number of concerts in Jazz clubs and other venues. He will now start the Master Performance Course in Guitar-X "Guitar and Bass School" in London.
