About Me

I tend to mtn bike, travel, play guitar, sing, climb small mountains, play soccer, eat on occasion, I mean cook on occasion, build things, read stuff, run environmental programs, grade papers, use chopsticks, and direct children's theater. I teach world history and I’m in love with NPR. I've wandered around India, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Europe and so forth. I believe traveling is important part of living. I went to the ed school at harvard and did the history thing at vassar. oh , and i just finished a directing class at emerson... what a rush.As a world history teacher i am the luckiest guy in the world. i get to learn more about world issues, dissect them, analyze them, and share them with kids for the first time!!! i get to see their eyes pop and their brains twist. It's a hoot. And I don't get dumber as I get older. :-) whew.In general, I'm the kind of fellow that listens and asks questions, and babies feel comfortable burping up on. :-)
