About Me

Hmmm....yeah. Well, let's just say that if you know me, you know me. And even then, you're probably not sure if you *really* know me. I'm not too complicated, really, though people say that I'm hard to shop for. I don't get that at all! I do love jewelry, but I usually do the buying for that myself. Did I mention it is sort of actually my job, too? Jewelry buyer. Yeah. I have my black-belt in jewelry-buying jiu-jitsu. I also love cashmere sweaters, candles (Tea & Honey by Yankee Candle!), orchids, unusual antique pieces, PF Chang's, Jo Malone perfume, long scarves, and shiny things in general. So there, for those of you who still insist that you'd rather run a quarter mile on an outdoor track in January with nothing on but nipple tassles and go-go boots than shop for a gift for me. My husband and I have 3 chihuahuas, which is really not as bad as it probably looks on paper. Two of our dogs were rescues, which is a cause we both really support. Don't breed or buy while wonderful, homeless pets continue to die in our country's already overpopulated shelters. Sorry about getting off on that tangent. In my many hours of spare time, I like to work on our house, not spend too much money on clothes, and plot revenge against people who piss me off. Oh yeah. You betta watch yo back. You know who you are.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The person who invented wood paneling. So I could kill him, right after I showed him our basement and back hallway. And I'm convinced this individual is a man, because no woman would ever create something as ugly as WOOD.PANELING. Seriously.I also think meeting Harry Winston would've been really cool. Did you know he would almost always carry a priceless gem or diamond around in his pocket, playing with it like it were a tube of chapstick, to ease his nerves in social situations? That's sick, man, sick.

My Blog

Today is a really good day :)

Don't be that guy...

...who sings Phantom of the Opera at Karaoke night at a local bar. Sure, you might have a lovely tenor voice.  You might even be classically trained.  But don't be 'that guy.'  Nobody g...

So, like, apparently MySpace is full of creeps and weirdos.

Maybe I should rethink this whole blog deal...I mean, I'm not currently hiring  for the position of 'internet stalker' right now, but that doesn't mean the crazies won't try and&nb...

HA! I knew I wouldn't keep up with this...

Yeah, so I proved myself right, that I would never be able to stay on top of the whole 'blog' business.  What a hollow victory.  Anyways, in other news, the kitchen is almost done! Yesssssss...

Feeling 80% human...

Well, today I woke up feeling much better than I have for the past few days.  Still a lot of yuckiness/congestion, though.  Chip and I lazed around all morning, watched comedy central, then ...

First blog entry...let's see how long I keep this up!

Back when I was a lot younger, I was obsessed with buying diaries.  Something about them - the little lock and key, the pretty printed covers, the whole secretiveness aspect was just intriguing&n...
