About Me

I'm a fiercely proud Brasilian/American girl who lived in China for a year and a half. I figured if I was going to leave the country, it would be Brasil. Um, nope.

I am seventeen (used to be a Sound of Music reference there, but no longer) and no matter what you say, I've been opinionated since I was 6 and I'll show you that. I have ideas on politics, music, movies, and books. Probably more, but as I've only been up for four hours the caffiene hasn't sunk in yet. If you get to know me better you'll notice my humor is fucked up. Maybe that's what I get for reading too many Chuck Palahniuk novels. Or my fascination with serial killers. You'd never have suspected Ted Bundy either.

I love old TV shows and nostalgia. My friends are what keep me sane and if you ever hurt them, I'll do something a lot worse to you. Treat me right and I'll do the same by you.

My Interests

many many different books about philosophy to vampires and a bit of erotic thrown in, tons of music, anything by francesca lia block, corsets, stuffed animals, death, serial killers, fluffy bunnies, good dreams, the right outfit, insightful conversations, boys and girls, what people do when nervous, reading people, comic books, and mostly geeky things.

I'd like to meet:

a person who can handle randomness and factual evidence in the same conversation.

Music:

radiohead, ani difranco, the decemberists, tori amos, damien rice, 60s music, shakira, the doors, bjork, queen, modest mouse, so called "classic rock", tom mcRae, marcy playground, marilyn manson, old metallica but it's mostly pre-black album, smashing pumpkins, the beatles, duran duran, depeche mode, the foo fighters, siouxshie and the banshees, yeah yeah yeahs, and a bunch others

Movies:

dancer in the dark, fight club, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the princess bride, eddie izzard: glorious, pulp fiction, heathers, the lost boys, buffalo '66, reefer madness, trainspotting.

Television:

read.

Books:

anything by chuck palahniuk, the mists of avalon, brave new world, lamb: the gospel according to christ's childhood pal, anything by tom robbins including "skinny legs and all", one flew over the cuckoo's nest, anything by francesca lia block, and she's come undone.

Heroes:

only imaginative.
