I am a big comic book fan and entertainment buff in general. Although it’s hard to find quality music and movies around the Greenville area.I review moves for The Greenville News. You can tell who knows his stuff and who doesn't by reading them. Seriously, give them a try; boy some of those are crap.I am also a huge fan of any Detroit sports team, even The Lions, I guess. FIRE MILLEN I root and live The University of Michigan. One day out of the week, I am behind the computer recording The Audio Experience for PWTorch.com and can be found skulking around downtown Greenville on the weekends deciding between Barley's Chicora Alley and Paul Franks' Kitchen.Generally I have sunny disposition covered by a nice kinetic ball of anger that I mold and shape in words and language. It’s not always the nicest of words or the healthiest expressions I use but they are the most effective.Never underestimate simplicity over glamour.
Conan The Barbarian, Jesus and Estelle Getty; in that order. Hey, you got anyone better?
Currently in the ole Sony Soundstage Player are: "From Beale Street to Oblivion" by Clutch and a bunch of other stuff I have no desire to type out.
I watch movies. Don’t have a favorite. The Greenville scene sucks for quality movies so my once insatiable appetite has diminished. Outside of that I avoid Hollywood 20 like the plague. I hope Camelot Theatres is successful in the long run cause if they fold, man, this place ill be a vacuum for poor entertainment.
Television is almost entirely horrible with a few exceptions Here are the only shows I watch: My Name Is Earl, The Office, Robot Chicken, Moral Orel, The Shield, Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Comedians of Comedy, Wrestling (yes even though it sucks right now). There may be others but they escape me and must not be that compelling.
I read comics still and that doesn’t feel as weird as it should being an adult. I read mostly DC books but still love the independent stuff. I especially love Evan Dorkin stuff and collected editions of major story arcs instead of buying single issues. It saves money also.Current pull on the comics: Detective Comics, Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Wonder Woman, 52, G.I. Joe: America's Elite, Batman, Justice, Justice League of America, Astonishing X-Men, Teen Titans, All-Star Superman and Wizard: The Comics Magazine.
If this means people I look up to it would be my parents and grandfather. So what if it is clichéd. Its true.
