About Me

Formerly the frontwoman of the all girl punk band, Kievan-Rus, I started recording Church of the Breaking Heart in the Fall of 2005. Inspired by a spectacular break-up and the long-standing attraction to recording solo, I began writing and then recording new material. I was recorded by Pete Weatherbee, who produced this project and has been working with me on it off and on for the last 2 years, playing guitar, bass, violin, snake charmer flute, and also singing. Mike Parker, who I had also played with in Kievan-Rus, layed down the drums. Church of the Breaking Heart - as you may have guessed - was extremely personal for me and heartbreaking and awesome and drawn out and I'm really glad to have it on myspace now. It's still in the works, but this is what I have right now.
