Things! Look good around here! (You've gotta SING it)

About Me

I'm from a tiny little town that you've probably never ever heard of, but I'm halfway through my Senior Year at UT! I can't believe it's almost over; where has the time gone?! Despite being raised in a small hick town, I'm pretty open-minded; it's hard to offend me. I try to live for the moment whenever possible, although sometimes it's hard. I'm a HUGE dork...seriously, all of my stuff is on excel documents and I'm constantly planning. -- EDIT, EDIT: I have recently been informed that, since I KNOW that what I love to do isn't cool, I qualify as a "Geek", NOT a "Dork." Thanks, Josh.Oddly enough, I'm not that organized. I hate cleaning for myself, but don't mind cleaning for other people, unless i feel forced to do so. I like my freedom and I love living in Austin, although I'm hoping to branch out a little (i.e. move away) after graduation. It will be a nice change, I think.Myspace Graphics

My Interests

Hanging out with friends, chilling and listening to music...i like to read, but not when i'm forced to (like...for classes). Pilates are fun and they feel good. I like to create things. I love playing outside, and i like to be by the water (river, lake, ocean, whatever - it's been too long.) Watching movies and sitting with my friends doing nothing for hours. drinking, partying, cuddling!!, kisses, hugs always make the day better

Music:

I like everything from hard rock to alternative to emo to country to rap/hip hop to r&b...the only thing i don't really like is techno; it annoys me.

Movies:

Tooooo many...I like movies with a twist at the end (like Fight Club), and intelligent movies that keep me guessing or just thinking all the way through. That's not to say that I don't get a laugh out of mindless comedies, too. I also really like musicals. The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie of all time, with Grease running a close second. I love Disney movies as well, from the classic Cinderella and Bambi to the more recent animated ones. I'm a sucker for a good romance or a tear jerker, too.

Television:

Just about anything on Comedy Central, SNL, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Anything ever on Food Network, especially Rachael Ray and the pastry/sugar competitions, Sue the sex lady, infomercials for Blender products at 4 a.m. I've been watching Jeopardy with my dad since I was about 5 (one day I'm gonna audition for it). Oh and I can't stand reality T.V.

Books:

The Time Traveler's Wife!!, 1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, contemporary poetry, House of Leaves, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, anything by Chuck Palahniuk...oh and my personal favorite, Tender is the Knight (haha)

Heroes:

My Mom, who has always worked so hard and sacrificed so much for her "baby girl," and has stood by me no matter what.
