"STAND AROUND" VIDEO:A Tribute to Brian Wilson: Arranged, produced, and performed by Cameron Michael ParkesCameron co-produced a Jan Berry / Jan & Dean Tribute album with Mark A. Moore entitled Encomium In Memoriam Vol. 1 Jan Berry of Jan & DeanABOUT THE THE BAND . . .Why "Box o' Clox"? We've received many emails asking, "Why 'Box O' Clox'? "What does it mean"?Throughout the years we've had various names (The Coveyors, The Moodswings, 20/20, etc.) In the late '90s we felt a change was warranted. I don't recall how or why the name "Box O' Clox" came into my head, but I do remember that I was attracted to it for two reasons — (1) it wasn't preceded by a "The"; and (2) it had a time element. It was spelled as "Clocks" until 2003, when Van Dyke Parks suggested that it be changed to "Clox" . . . to match "Box." (Actually, my wife had come up with the same idea a few months earlier, but it took Van's unrelated recommendation to convince me to change it).— Cameron Michael ParkesThe members of BOX O' CLOX (Cameron Michael Parkes, Charles Pett & Larry Dolan) have been writing and producing music since the mid 70s'.
