"Viva City DJ, AKA Bruce Tate, is a cutting-edge electro-indie DJ based in Newcastle, with a rapidly growing reputation for filling dance-floors across the UK.
Viva City DJ, who is also the bass/synth player from acclaimed über-cool electro quartet Viva City, has honed his talents in London as a resident DJ at Club Prologue. This superclub-night is widely regarded as the innovative home of electro/techno/dance action.
Having worked the decks with the legendary Kosheen DJs Substance & Decoder on numerous occasions, Viva City DJ has also played sets alongside many other established names on the London club scene. He’s helped to shape Newcastle underground club-night Eat Disco over the past year, gaining notoriety for his unique indie-electro mash-ups alongside mainstream pop remixes and classic rock’n’roll with a fcuked up rave twist.
Viva City DJ has also performed in Amsterdam, Holland’s capital of dance culture. With special guest Dutch DJ superstar Don Diablo, Viva City DJ whipped-up a beach full of revellers into a frenzy ahead of Viva City's live show.
