DONLAND ENTERTAINMENT was established in Brooklyn, New York in the summer of 2000, as an independent entertainment corporation. Now headquartered in the heart of Richmond (but maintains a homebase in Brooklyn), Virginia’s Arts and Entertainment District, DONLAND is strategically located to recruit, manage, develop, and provide an array of musical talent to the music industry.
Our mission at DONLAND is to recruit, develop, and manage musical talent, and position artists to be successful in today’s music industry. This includes the development of artist, writers, producers, singers and rappers. In addition, we provide an experience and motivated staff who enjoys the challenge of developing new talent as well as working with established artists. The family environment created at DONLAND promotes a sense of comfort and accountability enabling artists to work efficiently and effectively, while our state-of-the-art recording studio allows the artists to attain the precise sound and quality that he or she desires.
On Saturday August 6, 2005, DONLAND Entertainment was featured on the front page of The Richmond Times-Dispatch. The article focused on the unique and methodical approach to not only developing artists, but also the way in which business is conducted; weekly staff meetings, weekly one-on-ones with artists, producers, and management, as well as the overall impact that DONLAND created throughout the Richmond area. The article generated a world wind of exposure, creating numerous opportunities for business and recruitment.
DONLAND is poised to offer the music industry an array of R&B and Hip Hop talent that crosses multiple genres. The future of music, will be DONLAND . . .
