Peanut & Kata also 2/3 of the hit group "THE FENDI BOYZ" hooked up back in 99' when they were sophomores in high school. Kata who was born & raised in the gritty city streets of of San Francisco & Peanut who was born & raised in grimy streets of Richmond both started off as solo artist. But it was something about the two that struck lightning when they would appear on a track together. So through there big cousin Johnny Ca$h who had just finished the "HOODFELLAZ" project with fellow family & group members Pete Erupt & Y.S. he introduced the two to bay area super producer Rob Lo (MOB FIGAZ) who instantly took a liking to the duo & along with Johnny Ca$h gave them the name "FENDI BOYZ" & with that Rob Lo started recording them almost everyday after school when they were in there final year of high school. As time went on big cousin's Johnny Ca$h's career started to take off & he was bringing his young but talented group right along with him.
In 2004 Ca$h hooked up wit Rydah J Klyde of the "MOB FIGAZ" to form one of the most prolific bay area rap groups "MONEY GANG" which created "MONEY GANG MOBB" MGM which put Peanut & Kata in a very good situation. With the addition of Geezy to the group the Fendi Boyz were slated to drop their highly anticipated album on Mac Dre's THIZZ ent. wich was entitled "MONEY MOVEMENT" While fulfilling there label duties by being signed to THIZZ ent. Peanut & Kata were featured on albums by artist such as Money Gang, PSD, The Jacka, Crest Creepaz, Miami, J Diggs etc....Peanut & Kata were also featured on numerous DVD's released by THIZZ ent. Now with a catalog of hundred's of songs Peanut & Kata are set to release there duo album under KLIENTELL records/CARTIER ent. & have worked with artist such as Beeda Weeda, Philthy Rich, Guce, Star Studded, J Stalin, San Quinn, Lil Hyfe, The Pack, Dem Hoodstarz, The Reason, Pretty Black, Kafani, Demolition Men, Dj Fresh, Mistah FAB, Kuzzo Fly, Magnoila Chop, Tito Bell, Nio Tha Gift, Shady Nate, Hollywood, Team Knoc & the list goes on.
With their own unique stlye & sound which they like to call "FLY GANGSTA MUZIK" they sound like none other than themselves. Being that their from the bay area they still try to incorporate some of the bay area sound into their music but just with a little more style & smoothness. Peanut & Kata have put their share of work in in this music indusrty & the bay area rap scene. Now only time will tell how far the two will go from here.
