About Me
I, until recently, was a doctor at Genoa City Memorial Hospital, and is the mother of Nate Hastings. I was married to Nathan Hastings and then to Malcolm Winters. I am an honest and principled woman, I'm keenly aware of the importance of doing the right thing. I live by the code words 'duty' and 'responsibility', however, because of this, I am often quick to judge those who do not live by the same morals. Although, I am also known for my compassion, kindness and forgiveness.I am very close to my aunt, Mamie Johnson. However, my relationship with my sister, Drucilla, was somewhat bumpy. I have always remained close to my brother-in-law, Neil Winters, and was even once involved with him. Perhaps my most notable lapse in judgement was when my best friend, Ashley Abbott battled breast cancer. I did my best to be there for Ashley and her family, but soon found myself attracted to Ashley's husband, Brad Carlton. The two of us slept together, but nothing became of it. Since then, I saw little in the way of storyline and soon faded into the background.In 2007, I returned to Genoa City to comfort my family in the wake of Dru's presumed death. I also explained that my current occupation in Mali, Africa was working in the Doctors Without Borders Organization.
