Create Your Own!I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up. There I said it. That used to scare me, I've learned not to be so scared of the unknown and to let go and just go with the flow (for some things). I've worked some interesting jobs since leaving law school doing collections takes a lot of patience, and I think that I've used up all of mine! Now I"m working for Farmers and while some phone conversations may not be pleasant they are in general, far more pleasant than mortgage collections! I've learned a lot since I left law school, I've learned there are some things you do and people you hurt that you cant take back. That even though you think youre doing the right thing it can hurt someone you care about more than you can really say. But that at the end of the day its sometimes the best thing for both of you. Then you find out later that you are both SO much better off and you know that it was the right thing to do.I've learned that sometimes you reach your bull sh*t threshold and there is no going back. Sometimes its better to just cut the cord and quit caring because the people you were caring about don't care about you. I've learned you can find happiness in the most unexpected places (like friends wedding receptions!) and that being that happy can make even the most heartbreaking situations bearable. Sometimes all you need in life is your friends around you to keep all the bad things and people in your life in perspective.************************************************ ****************************************************** There is a subject I love....***my friends. ************************************************************ ************************ ...there are my friends that I've had since elementary school, those kids are precious to me (and know all my stories and require no explanation for any late night phone calls, sober or not). Most but not all of those people are included in my high school friends, and the ones that didn't attend elemenatary school with me might as well have because they were there for all the stories and know what I mean when I say the words "kitchen talks". ************************************************************ ************************ My undergrad friends rock my socks off, especially the ones I studied aboad with, and my AXO sisters, all irreplaceable and a darn good time! Its amazing how strong a friendship can become when you live in a house with girls (and guys, cause lets be honest I slept at Kappa Sig a lot more than AXO!) for over 3 years.
