This page stands as a testament to the late Al Brooker 1976-2000I set up this page as I just happened to chance across some of the recordings whilst at work one day and I thought it’s a shame that if people were into the band they now have no way of getting hold of the releases anymore as both have been effectively deleted. I thought that it would be an easy way to distribute all the music (13 recorded tracks and some demos’) over a period of time. And if people really wanted the originals I could also send them CDR’s in the post.
Regards GavGwei-lo formed in 1997. We recorded the first debut EP for the WSM label in March 1998. 4 tracks, 25 minutes in length Track list: Live And Eat Pie, Morphies, Micro Dot Village Shop and Ditty. WSM folded around October of 1999.We then recorded a mini album for Bella Union in the winter months of 1999. 7 tracks, 40 minutes in length.
