RIC PARNELL - Drums/ Percussion/ Spontanious Combustion: (cult classic "Spinal Tap" movie & albums/ Atomic Rooster/ Billy Idol/ Ravi Shenker/ Brand-X/ Engelbert Humperdinck) . . . RICK PARNELL was born in England, the son of the big band/jazz drummer, Jack Parnell... ... RIC joined "Atomic Rooster" in early summer 1970, filling in after the departure of Carl Palmer. He left "Atomic Rooster" after about a year, and was replaced by "Hammy". He joined a band called "HORSE" playing drums on the sought after hardrock album, "Doom" on the Victor Label. In 1971 Ric was recruited back into the Atomic Rooster fold for the "Made In England" LP. Ric not only played drums on this LP, but also contributes two songs, "A Little Bit Of Inner Air" and "All In Satan's Name". He toured with Rooster and played drums on "Nice N Greasy" and continuing touring w/Rooster until 1974, he was then with the Prog Italian band, "Ibis" on their excellent LP, "Sun Supreme" released in Italy. On the liner notes, it mentions his nickname as "Spyder." In 1975 Ric moved to the USA to play with "Nova" (Chicago without horns) on Arista Records USA. In 1976 he played with "Stars" - Stars 1976 Barclay (Made In Canada) 1980: Ric Parnell played the drums on Michael DesBarres "I'm Only Human" LP. 1980: played drums on the Jimmy Spheeris album, "Spheeris" 1981: played on an album by Lisa Dalbello called "Drastic Measures". 1984: Ric made an appearance in "fictional" legendary rock band movie, "Spinal Tap", playing twin brothers, Ric and Mick Shrimpton, both of whom spontaneously combust, the one replacing the other. 1992: When Spinal Tap reformed and played live, RIC PARNELL was on the drums as Ric and Mick Shrimpton . . . . . . . BRIAN CONROY - Guitars/ Vocals/ Songwriter (Black Sheep, Striker, Uzi, Zoetrope) from Illinois, Brian spent his early years on the streets and in the clubs of Chicago playing with and learning from some of the greatest musicians in the business. Bri later moved to Los Angeles to get his degree in music theory & harmony from G.I.T. and studied with Paul Gilbert (Black Sheep/ Racer-X) only to later fill the shoes of Gilbert, Slash, Mitch Perry, recording and touring with Sheep . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
