Well My name is Kevin Durant as you should already know. Im 18 years old and my birthday is comming up September 29 so if you want to get me something you should look now lol. I started playing basketball in the 3rd grade, because my friend name Kyle mathers said that can never beat him in any sport. I played for an AAU team in the 9th grade called the PG Jaguars. We won alot of National Championships due to hard work. Later on im my sophomore and junior year i played for the DC Blue Devils with Tywon Lawson. I played for Oak Hill Acadamey, but decided to go back home and play for Stu Vetter at Montrose Christian in Rockville, Maryland. I was the leading scorer on my team and was named The Washington Post's 2006 All-Met Player of the Year in Boy's Basketball. I was also named a McDonald's All American and was co-MVP of the 2006 McDonald's All American game with Chase Budinger. I got an offer from most of the Division one schools, but decided to go to Texas. There I was phonominal, I think it was my best year. ESPN often talked about me and my fellow friend Greg Oden. They wanted to know if i was going to stay in college or go to the NBA Draft. It was a very hard decision for me and my family, but i had to do what i felt best for us. I was named Mr. Basketball in college, and was picked my the Seattle Supersonics first round second overall pick. Some people say i should have been first, but im just glad i made it thus far.
