"Huge Rat Attacks was an undecipherable mindfuck journey at the Christensen's Big V's in Saint Paul. I accidentally closed my eyes for three minutes during a song and during this time I tasted colors and smelled sound. Although standing I was only half-conscious. When I came to from this brainwarp, Jason Huge Rat Attacks had grown to three times his normal size. He turned his head to the right and barfed on the stage! Not impressed, you say? Have you ever seen a man vomit up a talking serpent? The armless snake took Jason's guitar and began playing an outrageous solo while singing. The bassist and drummer vanished, Jason became a snare drum, and the show ended. Bravo. -- Double Indemnity
here is an article about our show at the 7th st with the black angels and daughters of the sun:
"Kicking off the evening was an unforgiving assault on the eardrum called Huge Rat Attacks. The group tore through the tracks of their soon-to-be-released album, Cougars, with blinding speed and wild abandon. Most impressively, Huge Rat Attack's progressive songwriting structure lurks subtlety under their sheer wall of lush reverb, distortion and pain, leaving the listener to embark on their own aural journey only to be awakened by the sonic wail of a large hungry rodent on three hits of acid." -- Perfect Porridge
