About Me

Two of the greatest, underrated, unknown, and underestimated minorities in the city of the great wind since Kanye West. And if you don't like it playa then you ain't a pimp. Another thing you should know to all Emcees or whom ever it may concern, WERE NOT ABOUT GIVING FREE MUSIC!! We poured our blood, sweat, time, tears and emotions into these tracks so dont expect a freebie cause you think your hot fire. You can do an acapella to a 808 clap, Were gonna be serious with ours, so we expect some endz.More information:Illament aka Illy aka "The Avon Barksdale of Beats" has been making music ever since he found the demo version of Sony Acid Music back in 2000. Hes been influenced by all genres of music from classical to yes even country. Although he possess no training or lessons in conventional music, hes been blessed with hearing that many take for granted. Music and sound has been an influence to man since they noticed how birds sang in harmony, how the windblows a certain way and how the heart beats like a drum. Music is part of our everyday lives, it changes mood and is incorporated into religions all over the world. It is a universal language. Illament just wants to make his music as best he knows and share it. He met with J Grizzly through college and together they collaborate on "The Paper Trail". A story of the streets told through the beats we provide and the artist who will soon lace it with their creative energy. Those who know me, know why I make beats. Each one I create and am brave enough to share with someone has part of my lifestory written in it.Also in the works is an album entitled, "Sage writes no more". I will get into that when the time comes. The ultimate goal is to make these projects complete and hopefully should good fortune find that they be received well. Maybe we can still make a living doing what we love and loving what we do.IllamentContact info:[email protected] Tracks from Paper Trail:
