Lionel lichy as a teenager started playing drums in various bands. At first he was fascinated by rock music, but soon he moved on to funk, breakbeat, house and techno. Since 2008 he performs under the name dj lionel lichy. The music he plays is dominated by cool minimal techhouse from Berlin, broken beats form London and heavy Detroit rhythms.
