Eric Flores

About Me

With a degree in music and a wealth experience, Eric Flores is a young bassist that is trying to make a name for himself. Since completing his degree in Music Education at Western Michigan University, Eric has been pursuing music professionally. Although only 25, he has gained studio and much live experience with several successful groups in Illinois, Michigan, Northwest Indiana, and Ohio. However, Eric believes his professionalism and work ethic are what set him apart from the rest.
His sound can be described as a hybrid of R&B/Funk mixed with aggressive Rock n Roll. Through his study of saxophone, music theory, and jazz, Eric often plays smooth melodic lines. But his favorite band is Rage Against the Machine...so there can also be a very aggressive, hard sound to his playing. This makes him versatile and adaptable to many different playing situations. Eric feels the most important aspect of his playing is that he knows the role of a bass player. He also believes in technique's importance, as he never wants a lack of technique to get in way of a musical idea.
