Become a part of the SaveWesty community!
SaveWesty.org is a project I have started to get my beloved van, Jed, back on the road again. Originally, I was going to save the money up to restore him, but that would be no fun. I wanted to get other people involved. I wanted people to be a part of this project. I want to be educated. I want to meet new people. I want to understand more about the Volkswagen Vanagon and I want to share with people what mine means to me. I want this to be about more than just a boy trying to fix his van. So I started the SaveWesty project.
I want to keep this short and simple, for now, until I officially launch the SaveWesty.org website. I intend to sell t-shirts, eventually growing and selling other things, to raise money to restore my van. All the money is going to go into saving Westy and maintaining the website. I will also be launching a message board for people to interact with others about a lot of different things outside of the van. I will be blogging about the status of the van and other stuff going on in my life. I have a lot of ideas I am piecing together still that you will see within the next couple of months.
What I intend to do AFTER I've raised the money is launch something else within the SaveWesty.org project.
