Miguelito Cruz

Nace en la ciudad de Tuxpan, Veracruz. Graduado con mención especial en la Licenciatura en Música-Opción Percusiones en la Facultad de Música de la Universidad Veracruzana. Ha participado en diferentes Orquestas como: Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil del Estado de Veracruz, Sinfónica de Xalapa, la Sinfónica Nacional de Cuba, Camerata de las Americas, el Ensamble de Percusiones Tambuco y el Cuarteto Xoc. Tomo cursos de especialización en Cuba, en el área popular y folklórica con destacados maestros en la rama tales como: José Luís Quintana "Changuito", Mario Jáuregui "Aspirina" y "Pancho Quinto", entre otros. En sus Grabaciones destacan varias producciones, “Mangüe” 4to. De Saxofones de México, “Algo Cool…tural” Miguel Valdés, “He..s Coming” Edgar Dorantes Jazz Trio, “Un poco Mas” Na..rimbo jazz latin, etc. En su Trayectoria ha dado conciertos a lo largo de la Republica Mexicana y el Extranjero. Acompañado a importantes artistas como: Fernando de la Mora, Celia Cruz, paquito D.. Rivera, Oscar Stagnaro, Víctor Mendoza, Robert Chappell, Eugenia León, Tania Libertad, Miguel Bose, Edgar Dorantes Quartet. Impartió Clases de percusiones en la Escuela de Música de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, Talleres de Percusión Latina en la Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas. Actualmente radica en la Ciudad de Xalapa Veracruz, es integrante del Ensamble de Percusiones Re…percute y el Grupo Na..rimbo Jazz Latin é Imparte el Taller de Percusión Latina Difusión Cultural de la Universidad Veracruzana.

During their musical preparation it has developed different musical styles from the classicism, until the contemporary repertoire, approaching the African folkloric traditional music Veracruzana and Latin American, popular Mexican and Cuban. He was founder of the Juvenile Symphonic Orchestra of the State of Veracruz.; was founder of the one it Ensamble of percussions "XOC". Their experience in Symphonic Orchestras and ensamble it has been with the following ones: Symphonic of Xalapa. Camerata of the America. Symphonic of Morelia. Symphonic National of Cuba. Quintet of Gonzalo Romeu Quartet of percussions Tambuco. Quartet of Saxophones of Mexico with who I carry out a recording where works of Eduardo Gamboa is interpreted, Ignacio Cervantes, Manuel M. Ponce, among others. He study the Advanced Studies of Percussion imparted by the Quartet of percussions Tambuco, in the National Center of the Arts. He also took specialization courses in Cuba, in the popular and folkloric area with outstanding teachers in the such branch as: José Luís Quintana "Changuito." Mario Jáuregui "Aspirina" Pancho ”Quinto” He has given concerts accompanying important artists like: Miguel Bose, Fernando de la Mora, Celia Cruz, Eugenia León, Tania Libertad, Paquito D..Rivera, Oscar Stagnaro, Robert Chapell, Luwing Albert, Victor Mendoza, Edgar Dorantes Quartet, and Na..rimbo. He was member of the group Avané with who signed for an important record company of pop Latin, where they made programs of T.V., I Radiate, A Video clip, and several tours for the Mexican republic. It imparted percussion classes in the University of Arts and Sciences of Chiapas (UNICACH) and master class of Latin percussion in the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH) in the City of Tuxtla Gutiérrez Chiapas. He has given percussion Clinics like: Festival of Bateristas in the City of Puebla, in Xalapa, Veracruz, which was promoted by the University Veracruzana and sponsored by the mark of electronic sound SHURE and the radio to Press 98.5, San Luis Potosí City in the mark of the jazz Festival, and recently in festival de Percusion in Patagonia, Argentina. He recorded different disks in the generate of jazz , He..s Coming! of Edgar Dorantes Pianist (2004), Something Cool…tural of the Percussionist Miguel Valdez (2004), Na..rimbo ( Un Poco Mas 2007) Likewise continuous their career like Soloist inside the generate Contemporary, in ensamble percussion projects Repercute (Armoni of KnocK).
