It is very romantic and very soothing to the heart and to the soul (to my personal opinion). This is one of my all time favorites in which I never get tired of listening to as it usually relaxes me. Most of my best music comes accidently, as I just fool around with the keyboard, and this was no exception to my surprise. Inconclusion, written in the key of B flat, "Love Between Us" is meant for the love between couples, family, friends, God, etc. I absolutely love this piece and I hope the listener finds pleasure tuning in."Fairy Tales Do Come True" is a musical piece I wrote to re-inform that fairy tales Do come True. The fairy-tale I was referring to is the love between a man and a wife, a mother and a child, or a dream that is awaiting to come true. In this piece, I try to capture the music of Disney with such songs as "Beauty and the Beast", A Whole New World, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, etc ...This is a song that inspire us all that "Fairy Tales Do Come True !!!"My Angel Up-Above" maybe the song that I hold most dear to me. It is a song that I wrote for my mother before she passed away in November of 07. She was my Angel on earth as well as my Angel Up-Above. I still feel her presence all around me and I'm most thankful for all that she implanted in me. "My Angel Up-Above" captures much more than I can ever put into words or writing.

"Turn Back The Hands Of Time" is an original written by R. Kelly called "If I could Turn Back The Hands Of Time". Unfortunately, I wasnt able to fit the full title on my page but I'm sure listeners would recognize this song as they begin to take a listen to it. First n Foremost, I could never duplicate the original version, but only demonstrate my edition of this beautiful but so meaningful song. In my version, I started out very slow and to the quarter of the song., I pause (to which seems like an eternity as listeners anticipates the following note) then I drop the beat to ride with the melody as I close it out soulfully. Inconclusion, In one or more past situations or circumstances we all wish we could have had the opportunity to "Turn Back The Hands Of Time". And if you were granted that opportunity, what will you have done differently?!
"Strong" is something original to give the world a slight different look as oppose to the usual romantic style that they get so accustomed to me playing. "Strong" starts off with a classical feeling running through those keys and then it drops into a jazzy/hip hop type of style. "Strong" was once on my page a few times before and I have to bring it back "once more". Many of you may remember the song "Strong" as the title "Stronger"...And if you do recall, you are absolutely right! However, being "Jay D", I always look for ways to improve my music and therefore I had to tweak this one just a little. I do hope the audience like the new changes as they "nod, rock, n bounce" to this one. I am "More Determined, More Focused, Well Prepared, Spiritually Trained, and most of all Stronger:"(being the opening line of the previous version Stronger) To being "On My Guard, Standing Firm In Faith, A Man of Courage, and most of all, "Strong"!!! "I'll Be There" is an original Jackson 5 song that I love so much. It is definitely one of my favorites as the title simply speaks for itself. In the honor and respect of Michael Jackson, I left a touch of my tribute to the legendary Michael Jackson by adding my edition to this song but also showing respect to the original. "I Will Never Give Up" is an inspirational song that I wrote for others and myself to Never Ever Give Up!!! No matter what the circumstances, "Keep on Keepin On"!!! "I Will Never Give Up" is a song that is relaxing but powerful that reaches down and touch your heart. In the background you hear the beautiful melody being played as I talk through the words. It is actually a song I would love to hear a congregation sing along because it is actually written as a chorus. Inconclusion, I hope I accomplished my goal to reach one (even if that one is just myself) to"Never Give Up" !!!

"A Christmas Love" is something new that I added on my page to embrace the holiday spirit. Christmas is my favorite holiday for more reasons than one, however, my favorite thing about Christmas is the "Love" that's been spread around from Husbands to Wives, boyfriends to girlfriends, family, friends, acquaintances and even strangers. Therefore, I decided to put the two together to form "A Christmas Love". "A Christmas Love" is a very soft relaxing piece that opens up with a catchy melody. It has a small taste of the chorus "O holy night" to respect and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Inconclusion, "A Christmas Love" will be played all year round because everyday should feel like Christmas !!!
"Reflecting" is a beautiful piece that I wrote at the ending of 07; left it alone for a while, and then finished working on this musical journey of 08 to add the final touches...It's a piece that captures all the events that took place last year, this year, and years to come that has changed and will change my life forever. In this piece, I allowed the soft touches of the piano to express my emotions and the slight delays to take on my reflection of the past. In 'Reflecting,' it tells of a story that depicts the dilema of losing and gaining; And In Conclusion, Sometimes you have to lose to Gain; As A Result....I'm Still Gaining !!!
