Sean McGhee has worked as a writer, producer and programmer for some of the biggest artists on the planet, and some of the most exciting new artists around.
He's worked with Britney Spears, Robyn, Alanis Morissette, Sugababes, Kate Havnevik, Frou Frou, Amy Studt, Siobhan Donaghy, Martina Topley-Bird, Temposhark, Richard Walters, Japayork, Hell Is For Heroes, Bebel Gilberto and many more.
Most recently he's been working with :
- TEMPOSHARK : Sean has completed production of the band's second album, which he has also co-written in its entirety. Expect great things - this album, the follow up to last year's "The Invisible Line", is going to be immense.
- THE GADSDENS : Amazing new London band, fronted by soaring singer Jody Gadsden, whose vocals have drawn comparisons to Antony Hegarty and Tracy Chapman! Sean has produced 4 songs for the band.
- ANDREW MONTGOMERY : the vocally gifted ex-Geneva singer. Sean and Andrew are writing material for a solo record to come in 2009.
- RICHARD OAKES : Ex-Suede guitarist, writer of several top 5 hits including "Trash" , "Saturday Night" and "The Beautiful Ones". Sean and Richard are working on Richard's first new material since Suede split in 2004.
- THE BLACKMOTH : Sean is producing and co-writing the debut solo album by Alexander Nilere, under the name The Blackmoth. Alexander was the singer in Acacia, the cult band he formed with Guy Sigsworth, and whose song "Maddening Shroud" is performed by Imogen Heap on the Frou Frou album "Details".
