About Me

I defy categorization. Frat boy/artist? can there be such a combination? I was never in a frat; I disdain them, so I guess that desription would fall short. Primarily Im an artist, I suppose. An actor and a writer with an vivid and overactive imagination, my other side is a rugby-playing, steak eating, formerly skirt-chasing Man's man, with a waning predisposition for libations of various sorts. My party legs are starting to give out; life in the real world has refined my tastes and my preferences for entertainment. I can bullshit about art all the livelong day, but not-so-secretly I think that most of what qualifies as "art" today could be achieved by sneezing onto a canvas. Or into a digital camera. I am a Christian; perhaps I shouldve written that first--some people would criticize that that should be my primary identifying factor, and it is, except that its such an intrinsic feature of my life, that sometimes I dont think to describe myself by it. God and I are cool though, and I dont pay much heed to those critics... Layout made by sweetinsaniteee

My Interests

Im an actor, so that's key. Im also a writer. I play rugby, except Im currently on the DL for a torn ACL. I LOOOVE karaoke and house parties, and if the two can be combined then thats golden. Im also working on my own graphic novel.

I'd like to meet:

In no particular order: A hip Christian chick, Led Zeppelin, Jonny Depp, Heath Ledger (oops too late!) ummm...Ill get back to you Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed.Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear. Oh, oh.Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain't no denyin' I've been flying, ain't no denyin', no denyin'All I see turns to brown as the sun burns the ground And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land Trying to find, trying to find where I've been.Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream My Shangri-La beneath the summer moon, I will return again Sure as the dust that floats high and true, when movin' through Kashmir.Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear Ohh.When I'm on, when I'm on my way, yeah When I see, when I see the way, you stay- yeah

Summer in Jesus-Land, the Wal-mart Saga, Part 1

It wasnt good enough; to be stuck working the stockroom during the Last Days of a tired Kmart on the failing side of town. No, better was the gleam and shimmer of a newly-opened Super Wal-Mart that fl...

Summer in Jesus-Land, Part 3

Nemo filled that cup right up. All evening, whenever he had to go, he'd dutifully take the cup into the bathroom with him, and I spent the evening driving around, collecting everything I'd need to pul...

If music was as big a part of your growing-up as it was mine, then share some more songs, some more bands, that etched some memories indelibly into your heart: Smashing Pumpkins. The first s...
