Paradigm Refrain is an improvised music ensemble with variable personnel.
Guests have included: Alessandro Fedrigo, Marco Buccelli, Giacomo Merega, Danilo Gallo, Zeno de Rossi, Dave Tronzo, Bruno Raberg, Nate Wooley, Sunny Kim, Piero Bittolo Bon, Noah Kaplan, Takashi Sugawa, Zach Mangan, Anders Nilsson, Francesco Cusa, Justin Keller, Matt Rousseau, Fraser Campbell, Adam Schneit, Juan Pablo Carletti, Josh Deutsch, Brian Adler, Petr Cancura, Nick Falk, J Granelli, Federico Casagrande.
Stemming from rigorous jazz and rock backgrounds
respectively, the current incarnation of Paradigm
Refrain branches out to incorporate free
improvisation, electronic effects and looping,
prepared guitar and drums, and "found sound" textures.
The result are mesmerizingly complex, beautiful
tapestries of sound that delicately shimmer and
breathe as they unfold.
