About Me

Music is supposed to be fun. It is supposed to be cathartic. It is supposed to be done out of a love for the music you make and a need to release or convey your feelings. It doesn't matter the avenue one uses, whether it be with an electric guitar or an acoustic one. Have fun. Be honest. Build community. Play shows and music because you love it. Play shows and music because it is the way you express yourself. Play with like-minded and like-hearted people who aren't just bottom-feeding or trying to get "discovered". Those are things that I feel. I don't care about record labels or how many "units" you shipped your first week. I have "shipped units" and I have toured. Those things are fleeting and will let you down again and again. I have been there and i don't care to go back. Now I am at a place where I can make music on my own terms and I'm having a lot of fun doing it. Hopefully you enjoy what you hear. Also, if you are interested I used to sing and play guitar for The Beautiful Mistake and I also play guitar in The Midwinters and bass guitar in The Lassie Foundation.
