Nefthali Santiago, Jr. (born in Buffalo, New York ), best known by the stage name V.S. , is an American rap artist affiliated with the T.N.T organization as wells as being lead man for Hard Work Inc. His high energy style and wordsmith crafty flow has generaterated a quiet yet moderate buzz and has fans from all walks of life taking notice. He is currently working on his debut release "The Manual" as well as his prelude to "The Manual" (Voice of the Streetz vol. 1 The Mixtape)V.S., born to Toni White and Nefthali Santiago Sr., grew up in what he describes as a somewhat empty and sometimes neglected childhood due to and early separtion of his parents which would see his father relocate to Stone Mountain, GA and him(V.S.) left in a household of turmoil, drugs, and violence in the poverty stricken Queen City(Buffalo) of NY under the care(or lack there of) of his mother. This only aided to the lyrical fire that was brewing deep in the belly of the young MC who was first introduced to the music/culture at the tender age of 6 and decided to pursue his passion shortly there after. For years he was tossed back and fowarth between the snowy harsh climate of Buffalo and the Red clay soil of Metro-Atlanta before permanantly relocating to Georgia himself in the late 1990's due to a custody battle where his father prevailed in hope to better secure a stable environment for his first born.It was there in GA throughout highschool where the young artist first was able to record, hear himself on audio playback, and sharpen the pencil on a career that was in the near and promising future.He also has a son named DeNali Santiago who he describes as "his pride and joy" or "his best creation". He explains that everything he does musically is for DeNali to benifit from.
He is currently working on his first studio release "the Manual" which lists production from JDelux, C.S.I, Charels Luciano of C.K. Productions, and other production not yet confirmed.
