About Me

TEE SHIRT AND JEANS! JACK AND COKE! ROCK & ROLL! MEAT & POTATOES! HUGS & KISSES!
That's the soundbite version of me.
Originally from Lapeer, MI. Born and raised for 19 years. Lived in the Detroit area of Michigan for 8 years. Moved to Arizona in June of '05. I live in South Arcadia with my dog, my cat, and my best friend in the world. Bartend at Shady's in central Phoenix.
I've recently gone through what can only be described as an emotional evolution that has changed the way I think and look at life. I realized it was necessary at this point to turn away from a lot of material "things" and external static. I want to rediscover my inner child and learn to live in the moment instead of dwelling on the past or living for the future. I'm in the process of planning a life changing, year long, nationwide bicycle trip. I'm gonna' drop out of the "game" for a while so I can focus on the beauty around me and try to reprioritize my life. There's no time like the present to figure out what your passions are. Having said that, I'm not really "looking" for anything right now. I've spent the past 12 years in relationships. This is the first time in my life that I've truly been single and independent. I want to cultivate the friendships and relationships I have now while keeping myself open to natural connections with like minded people.
Politics and religion are my least favorite topics of discussion.

Dog butts

I'm sitting here on my computer and I hear a wet sound.  I turn around and look at my sleeping puppy.  There is a dark coffee-like substance leaking out of his ass and onto the floor.  ...

Thanksgiving

So my Thanksgiving sucked.  It was the first one away from my family.  So right off the bat, it's pretty shitty.  Jim's family is comprised of hardcore Seventh Day Adventists.  The...

Dane Cook.

Dane Cook is so fuckin' funny that when I listen to him, there's ultimately a point where I'm lauging so hard that I have to simultaneously cry, piss, and shit.  A seemingly impossible biological...

Desperate Housewives

When the hype machine was at its peak before the premiere of Desperate Housewives, I decided that it was going to be another soapy, lame attempt to emulate the success of Sex and the City.  This ...

Halloween in a college town: The Sequel

It's always nice to come home to find a drunken twenty-something guy dressed in army fatigues sleeping in your yard.  Even better when his friend, charmingly dressed as a cow (incidentally drunk ...

Halloween in a college town

Now I know why it sucks to live near a college.  I went to downtown Tempe tonight to go see a movie.  Tempe is home to Arizona State University.  It is Halloween.  Do not go anywhe...

Wallace & Gromit

Went to see Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit a few weeks ago as well.  This is the big screen debut for the dynamic claymation duo of those Oscar winning shorts we all love. ...

Serenity

I've gotten a smidge behind on my reviews. Went to see Serenity a few weeks ago.  It's the pseudo "sequel" to the short-lived, cult, sci-fi TV series, Firefly, from  Buffy the Vampire Slay...
