About me, I'm 16 years old and proud of it!Sorry to say that my older brother, King, a poodle cross corgi died a couple of years back when he was only 16.5 years old, but I plan to reach 20!
I miss my older brother, he raised me and taught me all the rules when my mum went to work, so I was closer to him.
I adore my mum now though.
I follow her everywhere when she lets me, (sometimes I trip her without meaning too), but hey, like I said, I'm an old man now, so not sure how much longer I am for this world.
But hey, who said you can't teach an old dog (or old cat) new tricks?
I got my new baby sister, Chloe, a long haired tortoiseshell, to watch what mum does on the computer as Chloe likes the sit on the back of the computer chair, and Chloe has just shown me how use the keyboard... having some problems with what she calls the mouse.. the tail is on the wrong end, and it doesn't seem to be edible.
Anyway, since I'm home all day when my mum goes out, thought I'd get my space and chat to all you other cool felines out there.
Now about my mum.. a typical human, nothing fancy. But hey.. can't complain, that's all I remember.
When I first opened my eyes, she was there.
King, told me that my original mum and my siblings where I lived were very sick, and so my mum took me away from the house where I lived, got me better and kept me ever since. Don't know whatever happened to my family, mum never talks about them except to mention something about her calling someone called the RSPCA about the humans of the house.
But as I said, I can't complain. I'm the man of the house you see.
I only know this because when King died, and while I mourned his loss, my mum explained to me that I was the new boss of the house, and therefore have the right to make decisions as to who comes and goes.
I felt honoured.
I didn't know how serious she was though until she asked me if she could adopt Chloe last year. I couldn't believe it was up to me!
Well when I saw such a hot looking feline... even at her tender young age, (and I don't care if you call me a dirty old man, since I've never touched her, but I can perv), well... how could I resist?
So of course I approved of her.. oh.. but getting back to my mum...
She's a disability pensioner aka writer... at least that's what I heard her call herself.
Don't know if that makes her different to other humans.. she looks relatively the same, 2 of everything where they need to be... only that her legs are fatter than what they used to be.
She says it's something called lymphoedema. She doesn't wear shoes anymore, hasn't for some years, although I often see her try something on occasionally... Anyway.. that's enough about mum for now.. will tell you more about her later..
Here's a photo of Cleo when mum first got her a couple of years ago and when Cleo had to wear clothes to keep away from her stitches after a nasty bigger dog attacked her
