This is Cris.mic's Production page - part of the production team known as MancStar and also a member of Manchester rap group D'Arcangels (check top friends). ............................................................ ................................................. Cris.mic has been producing & rapping since '98/99 and started D'Arcangels (DAC) with his cousin Pascoe and was later joined by Stoney & eventually Kapulot a couple years later.To cut a long story short, Cris.mic began to come into his own with the production in 2005 when DAC released The Mancsta Music Mixtape; a release which featured DAC alongside up & coming Manchester artists with production by Cris on several DAC tracks.From here DAC began to work with more Manchester artists providing them with in-house production from DAC (Cris.mic, Kapulot & Stoney), and in 2006 released MancStar Frequencies with the help from friends S1 & L-mo. MancStar Frequencies featured yet more of Cris.mic's production with collaborations with Manchester acts, this release solidified the name MancStar as a production team amongst a small yet growing Manchester Hip Hop scene.With the production skills of MancStar buzzing in Manchester, MancStar released Dirty North in 2007, another CD which featured various Manchester acts aswell as some DAC tracks. Unlike the previous two projects, ALL the tracks on Dirty North were produced by either Cris.mic or Kapulot with Stoney, S1 & L-mo piecing the project together.
