What exactly is the SLC Fashion Stroll all about?
Well, friends - in short, the SLC Fashion Stroll is about celebrating the best in Salt Lake City's local shopping & fashion scene, all in one night of street-festival style runway shows, DJs, live bands, and of course, shopping, right along the sidewalks of the East Broadway Shopping District, between 100 East and 400 East along Broadway (300 South). And, like good hair days, Fashion stroll comes only twice a year, once in Spring, and once in Fall. So when it happens, it's an evening not-to-be-missed.
SLC's second-annual Spring Fashion Stroll will be held on the evening of Friday, April 17th, 2009 from 4-10pm. Featuring a smashing live-music lineup presented by Scion & Uprok, and scores of local designers, artists, models, fashionistas, and photographers, the FS crowd is lively, diverse, and embodies a whole range of fashion & philosphy. Cap the night off with the legendary street-style Runway Shows at 7, 8 and 9pm, featuring the stunning models of W Talent, and you're in for a great night of local style, sound and sass!
Fashion Stroll welcomes all; vogue and vagrant alike, and is free of charge. It's a great night out, and a chance to strut that sassy sweater-dress, or don those dapper duds, and come on down and help us celebrate the best of Salt Lake's best!
