ATM New York and John Stamos Is Our Dad represented the most heated on-field rivalry in the history of New York Kickball. To this point, the teams went 1-1-1 against one another in NY Freedom. A trip to the kickball365.com tournament in Centreville, Virginia laid the groundwork for the largest merger since Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage formed the Megapowers. When ATM captain Captain Intensity "John" Dematas suggested to some non-ATM'ers that they make the trip (including Mikey Santoro, Craig "Swaisgood Being" Swaisgood, and Stamos Captain Jared Walkowitz) with them, the seed was officially planted.
The new conglomerate fared quite well in Virginia, and again in Washington, D.C., and soon enough, talks were in place to make this traveling superpower a sanctioned WAKA force. Along with Dematas, Hey Whoa New York is anchored by the 2006 NY Freedom co-Best Captain Jared Walkowitz. This team also boasts 2006 NY Freedom's MVP (Craig "Swaisgood Being" Swaisgood), the MVP Runner Up (Ryan "Automatic" Sajac), the Most Improved Player (Mikey "Venom" Santoro), former GCL Captain Sal Cataldo and the Sage of Sidearm himself, Shane Dizon. And that's just the beginning.
Hey Whoa New York promises to make waves in NY Star, and make itself known as a Nationally ranked wrecking (kick)ball of destruction.
