Miguel Benavides

I was born in Bogota, Colombia and started studying music since I was 10 years old. I moved to Canada in 1998 and got a music diploma as a drummer and percussionist at Vancouver Community College. Since my arrival to Canada, I've been playing with a big variaty of bands, from salsa orchestras, Latin jazz combos, acoustic ensembles to my own band "Benavides". (with my brother William and I) I've been also working as a session drummer in a variaty of studios and I am continually playing in and out of Vancouver.
