About Me

At the age of 16 “C.E.O Oat$” began managing the early careers of local rappers J-Class & ?uestion. By 1998 he had almost helped his two very talented hungry rappers J-class & ?uestion Secure a deal with Roc-a-fella record’s sub label Roc-a-Blok. But the Roc-a-Blok Records shut down before the paper work was filled out. Oats & his two artists continued to grind & perfect their respected crafts, for the next few years. In fall of 2002 Oats scouted out a young Charismatic local talent by the name of Buggz a.k.a Colliseum, whom he had been passed a tape of by a mutual friend of the two. Oats & Collieum grew up together but until now, had not known of each other music endeavors. With his team all set, oats began booking shows for his artists at show cases, clubs, talent shows & anywhere they could be heard. They were underground artist building a large fan base. ?uestion, Colliseum, J-Class & a singer they recruited named Eros performed fan favorites “Pieces”, “Hipnotiq”, “Ratchet” & “I Got U Niggas”. These shows garnered the attention of FMF INC., Kalance records & unimagined Ent. Oats helped Colliseum anchor a deal with Unimagined Ent & sign a recording contract with Kalance records an indie label who had major backing by Universal. Due to bad business on the end of the record label the album never materialized & Colliseum was released from his contract. FMF INC offered Oat$ a President position with the label which he accepted. Oats first act as president of FMF was to sign his long time friends & artists ?uestion & J-Class. Although the team worked hard making great timeless real hip hop & the critically acclaimed “RUN WIT US OR RUN FROM US” mixtape they went mostly unnoticed. As the grind of FMF slowly died down due to a lot of outside issues, the team parted ways. After a brief departure from the music business ?uestion pleaded with Oat$ to give music just one last try. With ?uest back in the booth & Oat$ back on his business the two made some of the best music of their careers. This time their hard work did not go unnoticed as HeatMakerz Recording artist Kartier asked both Oats & ?uestion to join his Presidential Records roster, offering Oat$ the Co-CEO position. Now with the team of CEO Oats, Kartier, Divine, ?uestion, Paperz & Barz in order, Presidential’s goal is real hip hop back to the fore front & its birth place the Bronx.
