Janne Tulkki is a bass-baritone singer from Finland where his pop music performances have charmed audiences for over ten years. Besides his standard repertoire Janne also sings jazz and some stage music. Janne’s CD’s sell at douple-platinum and platinum levels. His latest record Viimeinen Satama was released in 2007. Janne’s career kick-started in 1998 after came in second in a national song-contest.

Janne Tulkki’s career to the top of the Finnish music business has been colourful and lively, just like the artist himself. Over the years Janne has felt that it is important to find ways with his music that allows his listeners to experience life and its different emotions with him. Janne has taken his message to different audiences in dancing venues, in concerts and even in private events, always sharing his emotions from the bottom of his heart.
His career had a public launch when he won the second prize in the national song contest in 1998. After entering the public domain Janne Tulkki has strengthened his popularity year by year in the Finnish music scene. One reason for this is that his song touch people in different age groups and also, because he has always stayed well-grounded as an artist as well as an entrepreneur in the music business. Janne’s compositions and lyrics have gained popularity also amongst other artists, and are regurlarly performed by his colleagues. In 2008 Janne celebrates his 10th anniversary in the professional music business, a remarkable achievement for this young artist. The anniversary year is being spent on the road entertaining music lovers around Finland. In autumn Janne will perform in his own anniversary concert tour, namely Interpretations of Life.
