Born in Dublin 1965 , Currently living in Bangkok and touring with Contemporary blues band Cannonball.My youth was spent listening to Jimmy Smith on Hammond organ,Thin Lizzy and Don Baker and Gory G ,these cats were my heros, I truely wanted to be the Keyboard player with Thin Lizzy....anyways like Phil Lynnot if you want to be in a great band ....make one yourself !! I joined an origional rock/fusion band called Shadowfax and it rocked we had all the balls and tunes but as they say... ahead of our time,
I moved to Australia and quickly joined a blues band, I lived there and toured and recorded with Geoff Achison , The Whipping Post, Dutch Tilders,Those Nervous Gentlemen and Yothu Yindi , I moved to Vietnam where I lived for 5-6 years and still go back to see friends and play gigs with my band "Cannonball" from Bangkok.During this time I had a band called Coolus Maximus and we recorded the first forigen album in English in history (as far as I know) and I soon came to love Asia,Vietnam is Awesome. I moved to Bangkok and set up a recording studio with a best friend where I compose music for TV commercials, film and create chillout /relaxation music for Spa's and Resorts throughout Asia.I formed A contempoary blues band called Cannonball in 2000 and today we play fetivals and some local gigs in Bangkok and around the region and have released our first album"the blues is a good man feeling bad" to check it out go to myspace.com/cannonballbluesrockband .Cannonball have just started recording our second album. Apart from my love for the blues I like to create lots of different musicical textures.I have writen songs for and sessioned with several famous Thai artists, including Brioney,Silly Fools,Fly,Mint and Helen Cashin. Ive been in Bangkok 7 years now and have to say its home, I got my friends, my band, my studio and life is real good ! its even better when friends come intown to catch up ! anyways about my music, I have a selection of tunes up there for ya and i will change them out from time to time ! I spend most days producing new material for artists and myself, Im currently work on an album called "Free From Greed" with several of my friends guesting on the album, this is a very open groove album with jazz/funk/experimental with a lots of unexpected electronica elements for contrast. here are some photos of myself live with my band Cannonball, my studio and friends !! thanks for listening !!!
