My favorite past time is just hanging out with friends. Though there isn't much to do around here, just sitting around, telling stories and making each other laugh can provide for a fun night. I also like spending time with my family, namely my older brother Rich. We are pretty similar and relate on a lot of levels. When my friends or brother aren't around I will usually be listening to music, watching movies, working out or reading. I am trying to stay up on my "self-education." The school system can only "teach" one so much. I also like taking funny pictures and putting them on myspace...

I listen to a variety of music, but if I had to identify with one genre or culture it would be hip-hop. People who denouce rap do not understand its true merit. Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas are at the top of the list. Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, Memphis Bleek Cam'ron and Freeway of Rocafella Records. AZ, Mobb Deep, Jadakiss, Clipse and Fabolous are other notables from the East Coast. Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, N.W.A. and The Game from the West. I can listen to Shady/G-Unit members Eminem, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Young Buck. Outkast and Scarface from the South. Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Common and Pharoahe Monch are very respectable conscious rappers. The Roots. Eric B. and Rakim, Slick Rick, Public Enemy, Run-DMC and Geto Boys from the Old School can't be forgotten. Of other music genres I like Anthony Hamilton, John Legend, Slightly Stoopid, Sublime, Bob Marley, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, The Killers, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy, The Postal Service, Ben Harper, Green Day and The All American Rejects
