About Me

From "Cohoe's" press release: Cal Amari has appeared primarily in Italian productions his long career. A consummate (or should we say "consume') veteran, he has amassed a list of credits too long to even begin to list. Suffice it to say he has appeared in television, on stage, performed dinner theater, and appeared in both foreign (mainly Italian and Chinese) and several North American films to date. Mr. Amari has also been interested for some time in playing a part in a horror or otherwise offbeat films(which is how he came to this production). He wanted to play the roles that had traditional been reserved for octopuses and Lovecraftian creatures. "Hey, why not? I have tentacles too!" was his response when asked why this was so important to him. "I think this sort of typecasting and stereotyping is on some level clearly racist, and I'm against that. Plus I want to do roles that are a challenge. I'm not just another pretty tentacle." Having done everything from "nature" programs & cooking shows, to adventure and science fiction drama there was no question he was the cephalopod for the job. Oh, some people have asked about my "orientation". I am BI-valve.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Other abused foods who have been the victim of stereotyping and casting for type. I'm here in part to support the film "Sleeping with the Cohoe's" a live action animated film currently in production but also as a food and cephelapod advocate trying to prove we can do more than play the minor roles in film we have been relagated to for entirely too long._______________________________________________________ ____ ___________________________________________________________ Hi, Cal Amari here. And I'd just like to say before you see this clip that THIS clip is NOT a fair representation of who I am. It was however the only clip those damned A--holes at "Sleeping with the Cohoe's" would supply from the film for this website.
