He is an agronomist, humanitarian, Nobel laureate, father of the “Green Revolution” that used agricultural science to reduce world hunger, and has been credited with saving a billion lives, more than anyone else in history. He is my hero and if you had ever heard of him then he would be your hero as well.

I read a lot so I'm not bothering with a list. While I can't claim to like everything that I read I most certainly feel enriched by a book even if I wasn't a huge fan of the story. The only book I've ever read that I wished I hadn't was Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged." That book was a crime with 1200 pages of mental vomit.
