Surgida em 2004, a Validuaté tem raízes na cidade de União, mas foi em Teresina que a banda se consolidou na cena musical e cultural do estado. Com uma proposta de experimentar a mistura dos mais variados estilos musicais e outras formas de manifestação artística, a banda vem conquistando muitos admiradores ao longo de sua trajetória. Muita irreverência, poesia e um som peculiar marcam o trabalho da Validuaté.
Participou em 2006 da feira Piauí Sampa, na cidade de São Paulo, do festival Piauí Pop e ainda do Circuito Cultural do Banco do Brasil, etapa Teresina, fazendo o show de abertura para o grupo carioca Bossacucanova.Tocou na abertura do show “Cê” de Caetano Veloso e ganhou, na categoria revelação, o prêmio Solcultura de música, que elegeu os melhores de 2006 no Piauí. Em 2007 abriu os shows dos Paralamas do Sucesso, Luxúria, Cachorro Grande e Tihuana.
Em janeiro de 2008, a Validuaté fez o lançamento de seu primeiro CD, intitulado “Pelos pátios partidos em festa” e a partir de então faz a divulgação desde primeiro trabalho. A banda participa ainda do DVD Amostra Cumbuca Cultural a ser lançado em breve, em parceria com as bandas Captamata, Batuque Elétrico e Conjunto Roque Moreira. Um segundo CD está em processo de elaboração, e já tem título: “Alegria Girar”. 2008 promete ser um ano de muito trabalho e muita alegria.

With a proposal of trying the most varied mix of musical styles and other forms of artistic expression, Validuaté has gained many admirers throughout its trajectory. Much irreverence, poetry and a peculiar sound mark the work of the band. Validuaté plays with the possibilities of merging the main elements of samba, “chorinho”, bossa nova, “baião”, and other Brazilian rhythms to the force and groove of rock n’ roll, funk and pop music which results in a good synthesis of the new music made nowadays in Brazil.
From the beginning, Validuaté appeared in the musical scene of Teresina, and the state, with its surprise, spontaneous and somewhat immature. Still, there was not anyone who notice that something else would start to happen there through. Over time, the multiple forms were giving the band different shapes that does not allow fit the band under just one label. If this is not new, probably it was a natural tendency of those who perceive the changes of a odd market, expected to some extent, but that still reserving the more difficult work for those who seek independence. The malleability of style was well accepted by those who have seen the work of the band for these few years.
Participated in 2006 of Piaui Sampa Fair in the city of Sao Paulo, Piaui Pop festival and even the Circuito Cultural do Banco do Brasil, Teresina stage, making the show-opening for the group, from Rio de Janeiro, Bossacucanova. Presented on the opening of the show "Cê" by Caetano Veloso. In 2007 opened the concerts of Paralamas do Sucesso, Luxúria, Cachorro Grande, Tihuana and in 2008, Fernanda Porto. In the years of 2005, 2006 and 2007, the band played with great prominence in Teresina Rock Festival, the oldest of the capital and that occurs within the Salão Internacional do Humor (International Fair of Mood) of Teresina, one of the biggest in the country.
In January 2008, Validuaté did the launch of its first CD, entitled Pelos Pátios Partidos em Festa” and from then, made the disclosure since the first work. The band still part of the DVD Amostra Cumbuca Cultural launched in March, in partnership with the bands Batuque Elétrico and Roque Moreira. A second CD is in the process of development, and already has a title: "Alegria Girar". With all this, interesting expectations have been accompanying the progress of the work of Validuaté, in Piaui as well as in Brazil.
