Tillie Moreno, Manila's legendary "Queen Of Soul", got her big break when she became a member of Circus Band, a band that consisted of vocalists and musicians that performed many different genres and also became the number one band of the Philippines in the mid 1970s. After the split of the original Circus Band, Tillie joined R&B group Lovelife which would eventually lead her to signing her own record deals with Blackgold Recording Company and WEA Records (Warner Music Group). Blackgold Recording Company helped produce her hit song ""Saan Ako Nagkamali," and with WEA Records recored four solo albums titled: "Steppin' Out", "Disconcerto", "Tillie", and "Looks Like Love".
In the early 1980s, she recorded yet another hit song and duet, "Umagang Kay Ganda", with singing partner and friend RayAn Fuentes. From there, Tillie moved from Manila to Los Angeles, California to continue her music career and also joined a cover band called LA's Nitelight. In Los Angeles, Tillie was able to network and meet with producers that landed her solo gigs all over the Los Angeles area and the United States. Today, she continues to tour with other artists and performers and also does solo concerts as well, all over the United States and in the Philippines.
