Andy York, started his musical career at a very early age. After graduating high school, he started studying music at Berklee's Musical University, perfecting his guitar and musical theory skills. In 2003 he formed a rock band named Verbo along with bassist Date Fragolla and drummer Martin Bollati. Bands and artists such as Radiohead, Luis Alberto, Spinetta, and Soda Stereo are a few of Verbo's musical influences.
Andy also partnered with Ignacio Bellora in 2005 to form Intobiotics. Each of them brings his own unique musical taste to the group, and although they predominately produce progressive house tracks, traces of electro and funky house threads are weaved throughout. Combining the latest technology with MIDI controllers and live software to create their music, they've managed to successfully perform in several of Buenos Aires' finest venues. More recently, Intobiotics hosted a weekly show at ADNalternative.com.ar.
In early 2007, Andy began a personal project creating new tracks and remixes in collaboration with two leaders in the edm scene: Max Cagliero and Ricky Ryan. With this union, Andy has received many well-known djs' and producers' full support and recognition, such as Andrew (aka Add2Basket) Electrobios, Phunktastike, Ricky Ryan, Max Cagliero, and Mike Haddad among others.
Having received many offers from prestigious labels, touring as a dj, and earning positive feedback from around the world, the end of 2007 marks a great moment for Andy York.
