About Me

The band formerly known as Judge Sudge and the Fudgesicles (formerly known as Natural Selection) is BACK. You were all wondering what the hell just happened. Well, no worries.

It all began in Fall of 2006 at our original drummer's house, Brandon's. Spencer and I were over. Brandon's dad had a drum set and there were a couple guitars around the house. I picked Brandon's electric up and started playing, the first time ever really playing anything with an electric guitar. After a few days, his dad taught me how to play a power chord. All of a sudden, I could play all those Misfits songs I had been listening to. Last Caress, Bullet, Halloween... I decided that we needed to start a band.

Since Brandon had the drums, he was gonna play drums. I wanted to play guitar, so I bitched and stole my way to getting one. And the only thing left, instrument wise, was the bass. So Spenny took that up. Spencer and I started to take lessons and Brandon would get pointers from his dad, since he could already kinda play.

After maybe a week or two of banging away at our instruments, we began to play songs like Misirlou and a handful of Halloween-ish Misfits songs. We tried to get good enough to play for the Halloween dance at our school at the time, MITA. But that didn't work out...

About a year and a half later, and a few good shows here and there, recording our 4-track demo, things seemed like they were going alright. But on the night of May 3rd, 2008, Brandon decided he didn't want to be a part of Natural Selection anymore. He'd be thinking about it for a good while, he has his reasons for leaving. Luckily, we were able to get a new drummer right way, Cody. He was interested in playing with another band so I asked him if he wanted to play with us.

And here we are now, second lineup, hopefully what people will take 20 years down the road as the "classic lineup"...
