My name is Jen and I work at the Pottsville Hospital as a CNA. I'm currently a nursing student at LCCC. When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my boyfriend Anthony, my friends, and my dogs: Bruno, Emma, Jake,Baxter (Pig), and the newest addition to our family: Gus. I would also like to take this opportunity to share something with you all that is very close to my heart. In 2005, my Uncle Ron was told he needed a liver transplant. For almost a year, our family was looking for live donor. Unfortunately, we were not successful and was not able to find a liver for him on our own. But, at 3am on February 3rd, we were excited to find out that the University of Pennsylvania found a liver for my uncle. It was a perfect match. My Uncle Ron made it through the transplant without any problems and is doing very well today. I just wanted to inform everyone on how much organ donations are needed. Organs should not be wasted when people need them. A woman had to die to save my Uncle Ron's life, and she choose to be an organ donor. So please, be an organ donor. Why take your organs to heaven when we need them so badly on earth.
